Aiud is the place that witnessed the birth of light, words and the wind's caress, the quivering of the first kiss, and footsteps wandering around the streets paved with shadows, silences and whispers. Aiud is Aiud. Over here, history is buried inside the people and the walls. The walls have made people rise. People have struggled on both sides of the wall. Aiud is one's daily existence. Aiud is a patch in the sky, where Heaven can be seen by the eyes of the passer-by. Aiud is the time in which you are living; Aiud is the time that you make for yourself. Aiud is you, passer-by!
Aiudul e locul în care s-au născut lumina, cuvântul şi mângâierea vântului. Şi zbaterea primului sărut. Şi paşii rătăciţi pe străzile pietruite cu umbre, tăceri şi şoapte. Aiudul e Aiud. Aici istoria s-a zidit în timp şi oameni. Zidurile au înălţat, aici, oameni. Oamenii s-au zbătut dincolo şi dincoace de ziduri. Aiudul e existenţa de zi cu zi. Aiudul e un colţ de cer în care raiul se zideşte în ochii trecătorului. Aiudul e timpul în care trăieşti, e timpul pe care-l trăieşti. Aiudul eşti tu, trecătorule.
